Internship opportunity at Ceipa (CLOSED)

CLOSED  –Website coordinator –

We are looking for a dynamic intern to coordinate and inject new ideas into the CEIPA website. The website coordinator will work  closely with the finance director, the executive director, the executive secretary and the president of CEIPA.

Your tasks:

– enhance the current website to maximise traffic;

–  update content on the CEIPA website;

– develop a content pipeline in line with CEIPA themes and objectives including researching current affairs topics;

– answer questions and comments made by stakeholders and website visitors;

– maintain the CEIPA mailing list;

– identify website success measures and monitor website analytics;

– maintain and introduce appropriate security and troubleshooting mechanisms.

Your skills:

You have excellent IT skills, working knowledge of common software and mail and content management software (such as WordPress and Mailchimp), competency in Internet and Web.

You have an active interest in the policy areas we work in;

You have excellent writing skills;

You are able to identify, prevent and solve problems that may arise;

You have a solid grasp of search engine analytics;

You are fluent in English and have a good level of French; any other language is an advantage;

You have a PhD, Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as journalism, web design, communications or political science.

The intern will take part in the activities, projects and programs that contribute to CEIPA’s mission to promote public debate on major European and international policy issues. The intern will find himself/herself working and interfacing with counterparts from diverse backgrounds and cultures who have wide perspectives, experiences, expectations as well as approaches. The work implies frequent interaction with representatives of the EU institutions, diplomatic representations, national governments and administrations, international organizations, NGO’s and the media.

The intern will be exposed to high-profile events, participate in meetings, and contribute to analytical work as well as policy and on-the-ground projects.

While the position is unpaid, academic credit may be granted. CEIPA may offer reimbursement for travel and other small expenses the intern may incur.

Upon the successful conclusion of the assignment, a certificate will be provided.

Commitment:

Commitment of maximum 8 hours/week.
